The Fowler Company of Leeds was commissioned to build a diesel loco for use by GWR in 1933. The initial loco used a petrol auxilliary engine to start the 70 HP diesel engine. It was sold to George Cohen & Sons Co in 1940 and passed onto Ministry of Supply. It was used primarily for shunting duties, and had an overall length of 22 feet. The loco shown is in GWR colours, and the unique No 1.
The Diesel Pack comprises 4 locos, drivers and 12 months warranty for $10 US. You may specify any livery (Ex Works grey, Lt Green, GWR Green or MOS black. Individual locos are available for $6 each, please add $1 each loco for full weathering. You may select to use the Kerr Stuart loco as part of the pack of 4. |
