GREAT WESTERN RAILWAY Horses and Wagons

At the turn of the last century, the GWR had considerable distribution Services of Containers and other items accross the British Isles. This Service was by means of Door to Door pickup and Delivery via horse drawn wagons. Large Depots were operated servicing many thousands of horse drawn vehicles, prior to the widespread use of the steam and petrol engine (the Scammell). I have endeavoured to capture that moment in time for the true TRAINZ enthusiast. There was a large gap in the TRAINZ assets available. This has now been addressed, and will allow the user to enjoy another facet of this tremendous simulation.

All wagons are fully TRAINZ Industry enabled, allowing the various GWR container loads to be carried, loaded and unloaded. The wagons have authentic GWR logos on Tarps, sides and axle bearing caps which is prototypical. The horses, superbly modelled by Linda Gee of Pennsylvania, USA are fully animated with steam from flanks, nostrils when pulling, various horsey sounds, such as whinney (as horn) and clip clop when moving !!! Truely a masterpiece in modelling.

All items, the GWR Flat Wagon, Hoop Wagon and Covered Wagon, black Percheron, brown Belgian and dappled grey Draft horse with 12 months warranty, including fixes, updates etc. are $2 US each, or the set of 6 for $9 (a saving of $3 US, hay not included)
