The GWR adopted the Scammell 3 Wheeler transport to move goods from Goods Depots to their customers premises, be it an industry or a local resident moving furniture. The Scammell 'Horse' was adaptable in use, and used a small trailer, a medium trailer and for the larger heavy loads used the Large trailer, capable of hauling 15 tons. These unique vehicles were in use from the early 20's to well after WWII, many are in preservation today and can often be purchased at local swap meets or auction sales. They last forever it seems !! These models for TRS2004 represent a selection of the unique Scammell 3 wheeler and its trailers (3) in addition I have included 2 different loads to be cattied, both by the 3 wheeler and the GWR Conflat container wagon. They are all SP2 Industry enabled, allowing the enthusiast to model a realistic GWR Distribution scene between 1920 and the 50's.

Each model was individually engineered with special detailing in the wipers, number plates, steering wheel, as well as the authentic GWR and Scammell Logo on each unit. The units are all able to be separated and the trailers to be parked whilst the 3 wheel 'industrial horse' is allowed to go about its business ferrying other trailers (loaded and unloaded) to various destinations.

They are individually priced at $3 for the 3 wheel unit, $1 for each of the trailers, and $1 for each of the containers. The full set is on offer at $6 for the set (a saving of $2). All prices are in US $. The models come with a full 12 month warranty, giving you full technical support, all upgrades and engineering fixes.

Here you see a small railway station unloading GWR containers from Conflats and re-loading onto GWR Scammells. They then deliver the containers to the local pub !! (Yes I know its close, but you have to use your imagination !!)

The lower pics show the trailer being left outside the pub, and the GWR Scammell 3 wheeler departing.
