GREAT WESTERN RAILWAY Saint Class 4-6-0 Loco
The Saint class 4-6-0 loco was used in the GWR to run express coach trains (available here) on mainline tracks. Designed by Churchward in the early 1900's First built in the 1905 The Saint initially was converted from Scott 4-4-2 (a competitor to the de Glehn class), and had the square frames. Later Saints had the curved frames and footplate.

No Saints survived into preservation, all were scrapped by 1954, although there are plans to build an example from parts of other locos.
Saints are fully TRS2004,TRS2006, TS2009 and TS2010 compliant and tested. The example shown has tapered boiler, curved frames and footplate and exterior steam blast pipes. These features were not common to all Saints, and some were modified to add these. Special texture mapping is included.
