GWR deGlehn Compound Loco

The loco manufacturer, deGlehn was based in France. The GWR deGlehn was the first compound loco brought to UK for trials, 3 were brought over from France, and resulted in several changes to the UK locos. The outside cylingers were coupled to the rear driving wheels, whilst the inside cylinders were coupled to the front driving wheels The loco depicted is 'La France' No 102. Several of the deGlehn locos are preserved, one similar to 102, in the Musée Français du Chemin de Fer of France. Originally brown (depicted in last 2 pics) was repainted by GWR. Both versions are offered.
