Yellowstone 2-8-8-4

The Yellowstones 2-8-8-4 were built between 1928 and 1935, 72 were built, having a weight of some 750,000 pounds, and the tender a further 425,000 pounds, were the heaviest locos around at the time. They were used to haul very heavy freight operations around the country.

Most were withdrawn and scrapped by the 60's, however some were preserved.

The model utilises animated driver/engineer and coalman/fireman, Industry enabling for coal and water and animated doors. Special texture mapping techniques are used with real rivet detail where applicable. Custom Horn and bell sounds. Tested and approved for TRS2004 and TRS2006. Both the clean and weathered versions are available, and any Railroad/number as well as the 'shiny brass'.

The pack contains 3 different Yellowstone locos and matching tenders, choice of Railroad (NP/SP/DMIR/B&O) and any number, animated cab crew, animated doors, including 12 months warranty, all updates and fixes for $12 US. You may specify numbers or they will be assigned. Full weathering or brass option add $2 per loco. Individual 'one-off' loco may be purchased for $8, you just tell me the number/Railroad.
