SOUTHERN RAILWAY Drummond T9 Loco & Tender

The Drummond T9 was built between 1895 and 1907. and was one of Dugald Drummonds most successful loco for hauling express passenger trains.
The Drummond T9's were called Greyhounds, due to their fast acceleration and speed for thier era. They were used on the Padstow line from the late 1890's right up to 1966!
Loco pics and futher info is available here. The model depicts a later version, built in 1900 with the built in wheel splashers and coupling rod guard. Prior to 1947 some locos/tenders were repainted in the darker Malachite green, and post 1947 in the BR Lined Black as shown in the last pics (2 BR varieties, 1947-51 and 1957-68). The pics show the tenders, 6 and 8 wheel variety. LSWR, SR and 2 BR liveries are available.

The pack contains your choice of two SR or LSWR or BR Drummond T9 locos, 6 and 8 wheel tenders, driver and coalman figures (2 locos, 4 tenders, 2 drivers and 2 coalmen), including 12 months warranty, all updates and fixes for $10 US.
