Edinburgh Railway 0-6-0 Longridge (1848)
Built for the SG Edinburgh Railway around between 1848 and 1850, these 0-6-0 goods locos underwent several changes, and several different owners, including the Edingburgh Railway, Edinburgh & Glasgow Railway, Caledonian Railway, North British Railway before being retired late in the 19th century. They were used primarily for coal and mineral goods hauling operations into Aberdeen and Edinburgh.
What is depicted here is a set of 3 of these locos, in ER livery, 3 tenders, all different and weathered, and tested for TRS2004 & TRS2006, include animated footplate crew, animated coal loading, user selectable headcodes and taillamp and footplate views.Note the realistic wood lagging for the dome and boiler, and rivet detail on the smokebox.
