North British Railways 0-4-2 Stirling 1849
Built for the SG Edinburgh Railway around 1850, these 0-4-2 locos underwent several changes, and several different owners, including the Edinburgh & Glasgow Railway, Caledonian Railway, North British Railway and LNER before being retired at the turn of the 20th century. They were used primarily for light passenger/freight operations, hauling 4 and 6 wheel coaches of short trains and mixed wagon loads, typically coal/coke.
What is depicted here is a set of 3 of these locos, all different, and tested for TRS2004 & TRS2006, include animated footplate crew (there wasnt a cab in those days) animated coal loading, user selectable headcodes and taillamps.
