LNER Teak Art Quad coach set

The pack contains 4 LNER Teak Art Quad passenger enabled Articulated coach stock (3rd Front, 3rd rear, 3rd Inner, 3rd Brake as shown above), including 12 months warranty, all updates and fixes for $12 US. Coaches in complete set (2 packs for $20) include Brake 1st, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd II, 1st/3rd Compostite, Brake 2nd, Brake 3rd. Some coaches come in 3 versions, front, inner and rear. Thus ANY train makeup may be constructed, from small 2 car to full 12 car trains. Please specify with order which 4 coaches you require. Liveries are LNER Teak or BR maroon. All coaches in both liveries for $32.
Coaches include Passenger enabled, opening doors, interior views, Level of Detail modelling. Included are user selectable rear warning lamps, 16 user selectable destination boards.

COMPATABLE WITH

the LNER devised a system of articulated coach stock to run 2 coaches on 3 bogies, and 3 coaches on 4 bogies. This resulted in lower rolling resistance and better performance. The sets are of 4 coaches each. They were designed by GNR Sir Nigel Gresley (before moving onto locos) in 1927, just before GNR was merged into the LNER. 98 sets of 4 were built, and 4 of the original coaches have been restored. Repainted in BR maroon in 1948, these were often seen at Kings Cross up till 1966 when they were withdrawn.
