COMPATABLE WITH

The J69 was built between 1926 and 1941. Essentially an adaptation of the J38, the class proved very successful, and some 289 were built over the 15 year period. They were used mainly for goods shunting duties. Withdrawal was started in 1959 and all were withdrawn and scrapped by 1962.
