The locos are TRS2004 and TRS2006 tested, and include animated driver/coalman. What is depicted is the fawn and black livery. Weathering is additionally available. Real rivet detail is included where applicable. You may specify the loco names.

The Beyer Garratt Colliery Pack comprises 2 different 0-4-0-0-4-0 locos, animated drivers and firemen and 12 months warranty for $8 US. You may specify any livery (fawn/black/green/GWR Green/BR early/BR late) number and names, they will be assigned otherwise. Individual locos are available for $5 each, please add $1 each loco for full weathering.

William Francis was one of four virtually identical machines built by Beyer Peacock (Gorton, Manchester, UK) for industrial concerns in the UK. Weighing 65tons a small Garratt, the four cylinder machine has a tractive effort of 27,844lbs and boiler pressure of 180psi
Works number 6841 was built in 1937 and sold to Baddesley Colliery near Atherstone in Warwickshire where it was the third locomotive to carry the name.
Returned to its builders in 1956 the for a full rebuild but by the mid 1960's it was worn out once again, and withdrawn. Fortunately a private individual purchased the loco, and it has been preserved at Bressingham in Norfolk. It is the only standard gauge Garratt to remain in Britain, the country where over 1000 were built (why do we do this ??).
