The GWR Weed Killer Train Pack comprises the 3 parts, Weedkiller Cab Tender, Mid Tank and Joiner to loco, including Operator and Mate to handle controls, 9000 gallans of Weedkiller mix, and 12 months warranty, including fixes, updates etc. $10. Items must be run together for hose pipes to connect. Pack does not include loco or other wagons and loads as shown unless you ask for them, when they will be supplied as a freebie !!!

Rear tender includes realistic spray from nozzles, operator and mate, ready to couple up and have great fun running a typical weedkiller train with a small loco. Other regions followed suit, and eventually all regions had wedkillers !!!

In order to keep weeds, brush and small trees away from track and to a distance of 10 feet, crews were employed to clear. GWR coupled 3 disused tenders together, all reversed, and added a cab onto the rear one. Pipes and pumps were added to connect the three together to form a Weed Killer unit. Controlled from the rear by an Operator and mate, weedkiller mixture was sprayed along the track, a total amout of 9000 gallons !!!. Refills were accomplished by the tenders dropping their water pick-ups and re-filling on the move from water-troughs on the centre of the tracks. Chemicals were then added and the whole process repeated until the length of track was de-weeded. Another brilliant idea from Gods Wonderful Railway.
