Please state with order which numbers required for locos and livery (number/livery will be allocated if not specified). Please add $1 each loco for the FULLY WEATHERED option. COMPATABLE WITH

Guest Keen Baldwins Iron & Steel Company, in 1937 designed this tank loco, based on an older design from the early 1920's. Some 485 were built, being sub contracted to severl companies including Andrew Barclay, Bagnall, Hudswell Clarke, Hawthorns and the Vulcan Foundry. They were heavily utilised during the build up to D Day and after in Europe and N Africa, the War Department had 337. After hostilities, some were retained by the WD, 75 were bought by the LNER, 36 others were dispatched to Holland. Others were sold into commercial concerns for light Industrial use and the National Coal Board (NCB). The ones owned by the 'big four' were handed over to the newly formed BR in 1946, classified as 4F. Some survived in use up to the early 80's, and 80 were preserved used by the various Heritage Railways of UK.
