COMPATABLE WITH

201 J21s were built between 1886 and 1894 as a mixture compounds and si,ples.Later all were converted to the C1 simple around 1913. Many modifications were incorporated over their lives. They were one of the most successful of the NER locos. Withdrawn between 1929 and 1962. One survives in preservation.
